Thomas Holt Villages (THV) operates under a “loan licence” agreement which grants residents the right to occupy the premises exclusively, but they do not own it. An “Ingoing Contribution” is paid to THV on entry. THV retains a maximum of 30% of this amount over a ten year period. When a resident leaves the Village the balance of the Ingoing Contribution is refunded by THV.
Recurrent Charges apply based on a daily rate and cover items as follows:
- Internal and external maintenance
- Rubbish removal
- Council and water rates
- Gardening and upkeep of communal areas
- Emergency call services
- Insurances (not contents)
- Upkeep of village infrastructure
