- Please note catering, laundry and cleaning is outsourced to private contractors
Pay and conditions are determined by a Employer/Union endorsed Enterprise Agreement which commenced on 1 July 2009 for a period of two years. In addition to the wages and allowances agreed to in the Enterprise Agreement, Thomas Holt Villages, as a not for profit charity and Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), can offer permanent staff a tax free component of their salary of $16,050 per year.
Minimum qualification for a care worker is generally a Certificate III in Aged Care.
Staff are supported by a comprehensive education/development program, including Certificate IV courses. As well, we offer robust Occupational Health & Safety policies and practices, as well as an independently operated Employee Assistance Program.
All staff must undertake a Criminal Record check.
