Welcome to Thomas Holt Villages

Thomas Holt Villages is a not-for-profit aged care organisation. Our aim is to enable wellbeing and to care for people in our living and working communities. We have been providing aged care in the Sutherland Shire for 53 years, and are committed to finding better ways to affirm life for all people, especially those who are older and vulnerable.

As well as providing residential and community care, Thomas Holt Villages offers a Pastoral Care program and a vibrant recreational and activities program.

Thomas Holt Villages is a Charitable Public Company established in 1956 to provide accommodation and care for the aged, appropriate to their needs and to perpetuate the memory of one of Australia’s pioneers –The Hon. Thomas Holt M.L.C. (1811 – 1888).

Governed by an honorary Board of Directors, the Village is a carefully planned community where some 100 staff are employed to care for approximately 220 residents, providing high quality supportive care in an environment where dignity, privacy and quality of life for all residents is paramount. Thomas Holt Villages also provides community care services to older people living in the Sutherland Shire.
