Self Care Accommodation
Applicants must be able to care for themselves and live independently.
RESIDENT FUNDED UNITS
Units are available on a “Resident Funded basis” and are subject to the NSW Retirement Village Act. This means that the resident provides an interest free loan known as an “Ingoing or Entry Contribution” to cover the value of the unit and occupies it under a loan and licence agreement for as long as he/she wishes.
A Departure fee is payable when the premises are permanently vacated. The departure fee is deducted from the Ingoing Contribution and is calculated over the first ten years of occupancy and is equivalent to 30% of the Ingoing Contribution. If a unit resident moves into an Aged Care Facility, he/she will be subject to the normal rules and Accommodation Bond requirements in force at the time.
