Volunteering

Thomas Holt Villages welcomes people who wish to provide some form of voluntary work.

We have policies in place which support Volunteers and ensure they work within the philosophy and values of our organisation.

Volunteers undertake an orientation program which covers such areas as elder abuse and Occupational Health & Safety. All Volunteers must undergo a Criminal Record check which can be paid for by Thomas Holt Villages.

Assistance is welcome in such areas as:

• Visiting residents, particularly those who have few, or no, family and friends
• Assisting residents at meal time
• Assisting residents with recreational activities
• Bus driving
• Pastoral Care
• Taking residents out to shop or for tea and coffee
• Assisting with our fetes and stalls
